We have an exciting opportunity for a SENIOR SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER in our Aircraft Systems Group. This position is for a resident representative stationed in a Major Subcontractor’s facility located in Sedro-Woolley, WA. The position will require a multi-disciplined individual to support program interest.

Job Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related discipline and eight or more years of related experience with a bachelor's degree or six or more years with a master's degree. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education..

  • Must have a demonstrated ability to convey complex technical information clearly to individuals with varying degrees of expertise.

  • Must possess the technical skills required to oversee innovative designs and to solve complex technical problems.

  • Must have advanced computer skills with versatile knowledge of computer operations pertinent to the field.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and both written and verbal communication abilities that enable productive interface with inter-organizational staff, outside customers, and regulatory personnel. Demonstrated ability / past experience working in a matrixed IPT structure reporting accountabilities to various Management Stakeholders.

  • Able to work extended hours as required.

  • Experience in Aerospace and/or Defense industries and global supply chain strategies.

  • Must have the ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Must have Manufacturing and/or quality background in Composite manufacturing, tooling design.

  • Experience with Engineering change management in the field is a plus.

  • Familiarity with SAP, Windchill helpful.

  • Able to obtain Security Clearance.
