Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify and contribute to automated test solutions and integrate them into CI delivery
Apply a variety of testing techniques to validate new features
Find and report defects with detailed, accurate and concise steps to reproduce
Execute test cases and report on results
Recommend system enhancements where you see opportunities for improvements in UX, reliability, performance, etc.
Evaluate requirements and convert that into an actionable test plan
Collaborate with end users and developers to ensure QA standards are met
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience automating ASP.NET Applications
Experience with Team Foundation Server
Familiarity with automated testing software such as Selenium
Experience writing automated and manual tests for the following technologies
Ability to recommend, identify and track automation coverage at a project level
Experience in Integration, End to End testing
Strong knowledge, experience with programming and scripting languages
Experience creating and troubleshooting complex queries
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related discipline and two or more years of professional software quality analyst experience.
Equivalent professional quality analyst experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
Must have complete understanding of software quality analysis concepts, theory, and operations and experience demonstrating those skills.
Must be customer focused and possess: (1) the ability to develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity; (2) excellent verbal and written communications and presentations skills to accurately document and report findings to a variety of audiences; and, (3) excellent interpersonal skills to influence and guide other employees and managers.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.
