We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Management System Administrator to join our EMS Training group in San Diego, Ca.

Under general direction, this position performs a variety of specialized activities in support of GA-Electromagnetics Systems (EMS) training needs. This position administers the compliance, internal and external training for EMS and EMS support groups. It uses the GA Learning Management System (LMS) to assign, monitor, process, and manage the compliance and the internally developed training materials.

This position maintains, processes, reviews, and analyzes a variety of reports and records. These records may be confidential and sensitive in nature and require considerable use of tact and discretion in handling. It works with and supports a diverse set of groups/departments with varied needs and requirements. This role requires judgment to analyze, interpret, and make recommendations in resolving non-routine issues.

This position also provides superior customer service to help our EMS employees accomplish their requirements and goals. It also facilitates the training request process, gets vendor quotes, assigns charge numbers, reserves rooms, sets up training events, and creates purchase requisitions as required.


  • Gather, collect and track training data in the LMS

  • Receive/field requests from a shared mailbox and complete associated data entry

  • Create LMS certifications and learning plans with sequencing and date logic

  • Create and modify groups using conditions

  • Assign training requirements

  • Run LMS reports

  • Prepare requested electronic and hard copy reports/metrics

  • Coordinates, tracks, and reports on the progress of LMS work assignments and/or projects

  • Troubleshoot and problem solve within the LMS for EMS users and managers

  • Maintain, extract and clean up LMS records

  • Responds to verbal and written requests for training information from internal sources

  • Other duties as assigned or required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite to include Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word

  • Customer Service/Administrative Skill Mastery

  • Recent LMS administration experience (CornerStone preferred)

Job Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and four or more years experience in a field related to the specialized functional area or unit where assigned.

  • Must demonstrate an extensive in-depth understanding of assigned functional area principles, theories and concepts.
