We have an exciting career opportunity for an Integration Electrical Engineer working in our Electrical Engineering group in Poway, CA location.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the electrical Integration of avionics module and payloads into unmanned air vehicle systems.

  • Designing of cables and wire harnesses that interconnect electronic equipment within the vehicle.

  • Responsible for generating system cable interconnect diagrams, point-to-point cable wiring schematics, cable lengths, routing details, and cable BOM.

  • Responsible for integration tests to verify functional operation.

  • Responsible for generating test fixtures and test procedures for system level test.

  • Applies basic technical knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve assigned routine engineering problems

  • Develops appropriate documentation of findings and implemented solutions, and communicates results to project engineering staff

  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

  • Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Job Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and two or more years of engineering experience with a Bachelors degree.

  • Must have a general understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and theory with technical experience demonstrating the application of those concepts while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

  • Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment and organize work assignments to meet established timetables.

  • Good communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Must be able to work extended hours as required.

  • All applicants must be current US Citizens for this position and must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
