We have a new opportunity for a Simulation Integration Engineer for the GEMT support Army Programs in Huntsville, AL. The GEMT system is a blend of physical and virtual components used for system maintenance training. This position is provide systems and integration engineering for the GEMT system. While we welcome candidates with experience in developing simulation systems within the aerospace industry, we are also open to candidates with experience from other industries such as gaming.
Duties and Responsibilities
Systems engineering design and integration of trainer system for unmanned aircraft.
Manage and maintain system level requirements and documentation on the training system.
Plan and manage periodic upgrades to the training system.
Perform systems engineering, system design, validation and verification.
Represent the company as a technical expert for system simulation within Company and externally with customers or vendors.
Integration of hardware and software for training devices.
Conduct verification and validation on trainer system.
Other duties as assigned or required.

Clearance Level: Secret
Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; six or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, four or more years of experience with a masters degree, or two or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
Experience with Systems integration, specifically with simulation systems.
Experience with Software development.
Experience with system test, verification and validation .
Must thrive working on a team driven dynamic and continuously evolving development program.
Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to influence others and gain concurrence.
Able to work independently and lead a team is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
PC proficiency including using MS Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
Modeling and Simulation (M&S), software development and integration experience desired.
Experience in scripting languages such as Python is highly desirable.
Experience working with the multiple engineering disciplines.
